NOTICE OF THE GENERAL REGISTRATION FOR 2008 ELECTIONS

Please be advised that the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) has selected the period between 2nd October, 2007 and 22nd October, 2007 (both dates inclusive) as General Registration Period in terms of Section 7 (1) of the Electoral Act (Cap) 02:09. The general registration will cover all the fifty-seven constituencies without exception.

In North America, all eligible citizens of Botswana may register at the following venues:

1. A valid Identity Card (OMANG not passport); and,

2. Having attained the ages of eighteen (18) years or above
