BOTSWANA TO HOST WORLD INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY FORUM IN 2005.
PREPARE TO BE PART OF IT.

13, April 2004

The Government of Botswana invites interested organizations and individuals to participate in the second World Information Technology Forum ( WITFOR), to be held on 31 August – September 2, 2005 in Gaborone. This conference is organized in conjunction with the International Federation For Information Processing (IFIP), which is a consultative NGO of UNESCO.

WITFOR is a state-of-the-art, high profile international event focusing the attention of the global information and communications technology (ICT) fraternity on actions for bridging the Digital Divide. The forum will bring together over 700 ICT professionals and senior ICT policy makers, including Government Ministers. The conference is also an opportunity to showcase leading-edge ICT products and services for economic development.

Interested participants have an opportunity to be co-sponsors of the forum and to exhibit their products and services. Additional support is therefore needed from both the local and international community. For more details about how to participate or become a sponsor of WITFOR 2005 please go to website www.witfor.org.bw

You can also send e-mail to witfor@gov.bw if further assistance is needed from the organizers.
